Zanzibar Beaches

some of the world’s most incredible beaches
A Tropical Paradise

With its endless miles of white sands and clear turquoise-blue waters, the Zanzibar Archipelago is an ideal place to unwind.

It sits in the Indian Ocean just 15 miles off the coast of Tanzania.

You can spend your days swimming or snorkeling among coral reefs, sailing on a traditional dhow, or just absorbing the Swahili culture.

There is so much to see in Zanzibar. The country’s cultural history spans over 2000 years and it was once was a hub for the spice trade.

Walk through the cobbled winding alleyways in Stone Town, the Zanzibar capital and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover thriving spice markets and see piles of cinnamon, cloves, black pepper and nutmeg lying in the sun. A wander round the Old Fort and the unique shops makes for a lovely afternoon, and the street food you’ll find in abundance is delicious.

Zanzibar is without a doubt a tropical dream, ideal for getting away from it all, but also fascinating from a historical and cultural perspective, as well as being a top adventure and eco-tourism destination.

3 Day Itinerary

All of the holidays we create are completely tailor-made to suit you. This sample itinerary is intended to give you a flavour of what we can do.

Get your bearings. Visit the beach and let all of your cares fall away as you bathe in the warm ocean, before enjoying a sunset meal and drinks in the warm evening air.

Investigate Stone Town and experience the spice markets that make Zanzibar famous. Roam the old fort and discover other amazing local architecture.

Zanzibar is a global hotspot for adventure sports.

Why not spend the morning snorkeling amongst the wide array of marine life that make this coastline their home.

Then in the afternoon try your hand at Kite Surfing or Stand Up Paddle boarding?

If all that sounds a little too much like hard work you could always just enjoy a final day on the beach with a good book.
